Application Information

Festival del Lago will be held from  August 2 – August 17, 2026.

If you are interested in sending an audition request, you must:

  1. Upload your audition material to any digital video platform (YouTube, Vimeo…), and share a link in your application form.
  2. Complete and submit the application form online. Click here to go to the form.
  3. You will be notified via email if you are accepted, no later than May 15 2026.

Audition requirements

Applicants must provide a video performing two contrasting pieces or movements that they feel are representative of their current skills and level. It is preferable that one of the pieces include Bach sonatas or partitas, but it is not mandatory. Upload the video on any digital video platform (YouTube, Vimeo…) and share the link in the online request format.

Audition videos can be from live performances as long as they have not been edited or altered. You can include the two required pieces in a single video or in two separate videos if you prefer.

*Piano accompaniment: We do not require prospective students to audition with a collaborative pianist.

*A recommendation from your teacher is appreciated, but not required.

Application deadlines

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

Deadline: May 1st, 2026

Results of the audition will be sent to students by May 15th 2026 (possibly before).

Reservation Deposit

A reservation deposit of $500 US dollars is required to secure your spot at the Academy.

Payments must be made before May 30th. The deposit is payable via Paypal.
